CountryDesk is primarily a service for customers of German savings banks and as such only available in its entirety in German, we have pleasure in introducing our activities, products and services to the international community in this abridged English-language version.
This is important for several reasons:
- German savings banks form the largest banking group in Germany and are the main bankers to a very large part of the SME sector. This makes savings banks the natural choice for foreign-based SME's planning to enter the German market. Our local roots and excellent contacts make us the ideal first port of call not only for banking business, but also for many practical aspects of setting up a company, such as site selection assistance.
