Talinn. OnJanuary 31 the legal name of DnB NORD Pank was changed from AS DnB NORDBanka Eesti filiaal to Bank DnB NORD A/S Eesti filiaal. Previously, DnBNORD Pank in Estonia was the branch office of DnB NORD Banka in Latvia. With the change, the bank will now be under the administration of DnB NORD Group head office in Denmark.The bank will continue under the trademark of DnB NORD Pank. Allaccount numbers will stay as they were and the deposits are coveredaccording to Denmark"scollateral scheme. Bank DnB NORD A/S Eesti filiaal will keep all therights and assignments were previously in place when the bank was ASDnB NORD Banka Eesti filiaal. While the move will not have anysignificant affect on existing clients of the bank, it is anticipatedthat it will result in more financing opportunities and enhancedmanagement support, which in turn are expected to lead to an increasecorporate volumes.
