President Viktor Yanukovych has appointed Yuriy Kolobov as new Finance Minister, reads the president's decree. In April 2010 Yuriy Kolobov was appointed the deputy chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), in November the same year - he was promoted to the NBU first deputy governor. The Finance Minister's post became vacant Feb 22 as President Yanukovych appointed Valeriy Khoroshkovsky the first deputy prime minister.
