Globalization does not only influence economic interaction between countries and companies – it also increases the demand of internationally experienced, highly qualified employees and, at the same time, opens new opportunities of recruiting them.
With this seminar, we will focus on the challenges in terms of recruitment that globally acting companies both in Germany and in Japan face during the process of internationalization. Which effects on the methods and corporate policies of recruiting young talents does globalization have? Should a major importance be ascribed to internships? How and to what extend does digitalization need to be considered? And, on the candidates’ side: Which language skills, educational background and expertise are required when applying for a job in an internationally operating company? Which branches offer better chances of building a successful career?
