The internationalization of procurement is a priority for East Japan Railway Company (JR East), which is looking for the best in class products and technologies from European railway manufacturers.
JR East launched in February 2015 the first European Suppliers Tour in Dusseldorf, Lille and Milan which proved to be very successful both for European suppliers interested in trading with JR East and for JR East to better understand the information required by European railway manufacturers. To keep this momentum JR East is delighted to announce that it will be launching its second Suppliers Tour as from 1st December 2015 in Dusseldorf, Lille (2nd December) and Milan (4th December).
The second Tour will focus on providing the latest information on JR East’s R&D strategy and procurement policy in order to increase the uptake of the best European products and technologies. Face to face bi-lateral meetings will be allocated for those who are interested in addition to plenary seminars and Q&A session.
Registration is free of charge, interpretation in the national language of the country hosting the event as well as English will be provided.
