Virtual German American Forum on Offshore Wind Energy

The German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. is excited to organize a virtual German delegation trip focused on offshore wind energy during the week of March 21-25, 2022.

Part of the program is a virtual transatlantic conference which we will be hosting via zoom on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, offering an opportunity for experts from Germany and local US innovators to discuss ways to cooperate.

The event will focus on technologies and solutions in the fields of offshore wind energy from both sides of the Atlantic. The increased usage of renewable energies in our economies leads to a number of important challenges: The successful expansion of offshore wind energy capacities on the East Coast of the US, is among the most pressing questions in this regard. 

As part of the virtual forum, a German delegation will present their latest solutions, technologies and services to contribute to the development of more offshore wind energy capacities on the East Coast. Germany has been known for decades as a leader in renewable energy technologies. The event targets professionals, researchers and thought leaders in the fields of offshore wind energy and renewable energy.
